It’s hard to get rid of used books

Posted on | June 14, 2009 | 5 Comments

Well it’s harder to get rid of used books than you’d think. I’ve been to two used bookstores today; one of them doesn’t buy back on Sundays and the other didn’t want anything I had. As it’s exhausting carrying around a bunch of books that I don’t want, I’m trying to figure out my next move but not having much luck.

After a quick Google search though, I’m having a “duh” moment. You can sell used books online! I’m already trying to unload several items on eBay, why not create an account on Amazon and sell some books?

If anyone has any other suggestions for unloading a truly random assortment of used and unwanted old books, post them here!

How about Better World Books? http://avenatura.wordpress.com/2009/05/01/better-world-books-instant-buyback-free-shipping/

They buy back books and support many literacy charities.
